GWGames Won
GW is the count of individual games won inside matches — a more granular record than match wins alone.
Formula
GW = games won across all matches playedExample
A player who went 8-2 in matches with three of those wins coming in three games has roughly 19 GW.
Why it matters
Match record can hide a string of 2-1 wins that are almost coin-flips. Games won surfaces the difference between a comfortable winner (2-0 streaks) and a barely-winner (2-1 streaks).
In depth
A best-of-three match has 2–3 games. GW counts the games, not the matches: a player who wins 2-0 logs +2 GW, +0 GL. A player who wins 2-1 logs +2 GW, +1 GL.
GW / (GW + GL) — game win percentage — is a finer-grain version of [[match-win-percentage]]. Useful when match counts are small and you want a less spiky measure.
